Read carefully the following quote by Mother Teresa and try to discover new
characteristics that help you live best among people:
“I once picked up a woman from a garbage dump and she was burning with fever; she was in her last days and her only lament was: ‘My son did this to me.’ I begged her: You must forgive your son. In a moment of madness, when he was not himself, he did a thing he regrets. Be a mother to him, forgive him. It took me a long time to make her say: ‘I forgive my son.’ Just before she died in my arms, she was able to say that with a real forgiveness. She was not concerned that she was dying. The breaking of the heart was that her son did not want her. This is something you and I can understand.”

When I studied some information about Mother Teresa
in Hello ! 8 , I admire her, but I didn’t look forward to knowing
any about her. But when I read more about her I am admired her
most. Now , as for me , she does not represent an internationally famous
woman. She represents the whole humanity.
Read the following qoute by her and you will realize that also :
“ Everybody today seems to be in such a terrible rush, anxious for greater
developments and greater riches and so on, so that children have very little
time for their parents. Parents have very little time for each other, and in the
home begins the disruption of peace of the world.
If we really want to love we must learn how to forgive. “

In ancient China, the keeper of the Imperial Library, Lao Tzu, was
famous for his wisdom. Perceiving the growing corruption of the
government, he left for the countryside. On his way, the guard at the
city gates asked Lao Tzu to write out the essence of his understanding
to benefit future generations. Lao Tzu wrote the Tao Te Ching, left, and
was never heard of again.
The Tao Te Ching (also called “The Tao”, “The Dao” or the “Dao De
Jing”), by Lao Tzu, is one of the most influential books in history. It is
the source of famous Chinese sayings such as “Those who know do not
speak, those who speak, do not know” and “Even a 1,000 mile journey
starts with a single step“.
This site includes images and quotes of Lao Tzu as well as explanations
of yin & yang, and Taoist philosophy
