Each word of the above mini-list has its own meaning which is different from the others.Let’s see,

“BED’ is used as countable or uncountable noun. It is used

1. to describe a piece of furniture which we use it to sleep on,

2. to describe the ground of the bottom of a sea, lake, river …,

3. to describe a layer of something that is a base for something else, (note : here “BED” is used as “singular noun only”)

4. and to describe an rea of a ground has been prepared for plants to grow in.

  “CRADLE” is also used as C. or U.  noun.

1. a small bed for a baby

2. “the cradle” the place where something began.

as a verb; “CRADLE” means to hold something gently.

“NEST”:

1. as a C.  noun only, it means a place where insects and small animals live.

2. as an  intransitive verb; it means making a nest somewhere.

After that detailed explanation ,what is the correct word?
