Nice pictures. I love lilacs! I just wish you could capture the smell on film. Yes those are Wisteria, another fragrant spring flower. Sorry about the loss of your boyfriend, but like spring another one will come along that is more suited to you!

I don't know how you did on the oral exam but your blog writing is very good! Keep up the good work.

And regarding your previous blog, yeah, time passes fast. I can't believe we are almost finished with this semester. I must say I am looking forward to it though since I will be going home to visit my son.

Well, keep writing. You have to catch up. (:

Hi Hazel, This is a very funny story. I was lol, laughing out loud. Yes babies are unpredictable and hard to understand, but mothers usually figure out a pattern to their cries and can usually figure out what their problems are, but not always. Anyway, they are not as fragile as they seem and it just takes a bit of experience with them to be able to care for them without freaking out. Yeah, they're more enjoyable when they are older. He'll be more fun next time you see him but not necessarily care free!

Those are very interesting photos (though I can't see the second one). In English, we would call your Grandmother's Grandfather your Great, Great Grandfather.

Wow, Hazel, I loved seeing your pictures! Gosh your grandmother's grandfather's father would be a great, great, great grandfather! How wonderful that she could get you to preserve them for her and that she could share some of her history with her. Ask her all the questions you can think of to find out more including places and dates and names. I know I wish I had asked my grandmother more about her past and where she was from and about her experiences but I didn't think of it while she was around. They have a wealth of information, for sure.

Hope you are enjoying the time with your family this holiday. Happy Spring Festival.

Keep blogging. Maybe you can share some more about your family history. I would find it very interesting.
