TEM-4 is quite an important exam for English Major students, because if we want to graduate we must pass it.

This TEM-4 reminds me of my college entrance exam. That exam was I think the most important exam in most of the Chinese students’ life. So we started the count down even 300 days before the exam. Everyday we did a lot of exams. I still can remember the atmosphere of study, pressure, and nervousness.

One would come across different exams in his or her life. And after every exam, on will grow up a little. No matter how nervous or how worried you feel, you still have to face it. After the exam, everything seems different and your stress disappeared. So now I am expecting the TEM-4 because I was so eager to finish it and go outside and play~! The flowers in Beijing’s spring are very beautiful and pleasant, I want to take some photos for them. I wan to fly kites in a sunny day. I want to do a lot of things which are irrelevant of TEM-4.

I am sure after this exam, I will go out and be crazy playing~!

Yesterday, I went jogging in the afternoon. The sunshine was bright, the wind was mild, the trees were spreading something like cotton, and many handsome guys were playing around. Everything is wonderful~!
After jogging a few laps, I stopped to have a rest. When I was doing some stretching, I saw something on the ground interesting. So I spent a long long time watching it. It was an ant home, a small hole between 2 bricks and many ants were busy coming in and out. I watched very carefully and I found that, every time an ant came out, together with a grain of sand. It carried the grain of sand to a place away from the entrance and went back immediately, without a moment of rest, to carry the next sand.
I realized that the ants were making their house—a house underground.
Their power is trivial. Every trip they can just carry one grain of sand. And they have to repeat the same work thousands of time a day and only move out a little of the earth. They don’t care their power is so little but keep working very hard. Finally, they make up their tremendous castle underground.
I recalled that I had read an article about ants. It said that the ant den is easily destroyed by the rain, so every time after the rain, the ants have to build a new one. Thousands of thousands times of carrying would be in vain right after the rain, but the ants won’t stop and complain or cry out their depression. It seems that they even before they have time to moan or wail, they have to go back working.
So I have to think of myself: when I come across something difficult, I hesitate. And after some working, if I still don’t see any result, I want to give up. My power is much greater than an ant’s, but I think I am somehow, weaker than it! They are humble, but they are also respectable, I think.
Next time when I come across some difficulty, I will think of the little creature I saw in a pleasant afternoon.

Today we had the oral English exam. All my classmates said that it is quite easy but I don’t think so, because it is easy to finish the exam but hard to do it perfectly. The exam was a job interview. John played the interviewer and we played the interviewees. I tried to talk fluently and confidently. John asked me some questions and I was a little bit nervous. Luckily that I had prepared it before so most of the answers I thought were satisfactory.

And then I had to give the speech on Darfur because I didn’t do it during the class. I didn’t prepare for this because I thought I missed this and had no chance to make it up. So not having prepared, I gave a one minute speech with no script in my hand. John looked at me and listened to me carefully, which made me nervous, and I talked about Darfur’s problem in my own understanding and own words. I think it was a bad speech, for I didn’t prepare well. After the speech John asked me several questions, which are quite critical, I answered them in a clumsily way. If i had known this i would have prepared it~!

Hope John would have some mercy on me……Hope my oral exam will not be too bad… Amen.

Wow, it is 2 months since last time I write this blog! The only thing I want to say is that time passes so fast and I even hardly notice that. I couldn’t recall what I have done exactly in these 2 months. It feels just like a flash. And everyday seems the same day except the day is becoming warmer and warmer.

I believe the spring is an active season, in which everyone dresses lighter. Many girls are dressed in short skirt or short pants and many boys wear polo shirt. Honestly speaking I love seeing them dressing like that ~~ ：P
I like spring and I like the weather is warm because I’m more afraid of freezing days than others…

This semester I think is end because there’s nearly no classes to have. I like free days so that I can do something I’m interested in, as you can see I start this blog again! ：）

Today I went to my uncle’s home to visit them. my aunt had just had a baby, who is only 4 months or so. The baby , of course ,is my cousin, 20 years younger than me, sleeping, very cute and lovely. And I think he is much bigger than last time I saw him (about 2months ago).

I asked if I can hold him, my aunt permitted, and gave him to me. The first feeling is —oh, god, he is sooo~ heavy! I didn’t expect that so small a body could be so heavy, is he made of stone or something? I tried to hold him tenderly and carefully, but suddenly, without any reason, he woke up and started to cry! I was terrified and lose my mind, so I cried out “HELP~~”, and his mother took him away from me. Ironically, he stopped crying immediately.

Then we talked around. The baby seemed to be happy, so I asked to hold him again. This time, I talked to him and played with him, so everything was going on well. But a few minutes later, he began to cry again. And just at the same time, a strange smell came into my nose…I recognized something horrible happened…he SHITTED! So once again, I behaved so crazy crying out “HELP~!!!” . I was afraid that he would taint my new clothes. Luckily, he didn’t. I was released…

I think babies are very strange creature. You can never know what they are thinking, and they are temperamental and have no self-control at all. And the next time I visit them may be next year, and deeply from my heart, I wish my cousin would grow up soon, at least…control himself.

this is him
