country living

Even though it’s little more than half way through spring season and a maple syrup season has just been over, it is still too cool to wear a pair of shorts and a t-shirt that I normally wear during this time of year. A temperature in the country tends to be 5 or 10 degrees cooler than it does in the city. Looking around, I can see a different color of flowers blooming on every tree. Whether or not I care for the flowers, I can’t help admiring the natural beauty surrounding me. The scenery is spectacular and the weather is not too harsh to cope with. Life in the country is pretty peaceful and easy-going; sometimes it’s too quite for a formal city girl like me. The smell of cow or pig manure can be rather disgusting; however, it’s inevitable for the country not to have this kind of smell. People learn to live with it.
