which team is the hottest team to be the champion this season?

my answer is Boston Celtics.

let us temporarily forget about Paul Pierce, Ray Allen ,Kevin Garnett ’s exquisite skill of basketball, forget about their perfect team work, just because they are filled with desire to become the champion.

Paul Pierce scored a playoff-high 22 points.

Kevin Garnett scored 20 and Allen had 19.

The Celtics took a 58-43 halftime lead, then Atlanta scored the next 11 points to pull within 60-54. But Garnett made a turnaround hook shot, then he passed off to Allen to set up a 3-pointer. and then Kendrick Perkins answered with a follow dunk that made it 69-56.

McGrady, who seems to be cursed, has never been past the first round of the playoffs.

in Rocket’s first round playoff game against Jazz this year,

still Jazz lead the  series 2-1 ,  can McGrady or Rocket break the curse, pass the first round of the playoffs? can they go farther? we dont know.

in thursday’s game,McGrady  scored 27 points in the final period leading Houston to a 94-92 victory over Utah , this maybe could get rid of the disgrace that he had scored just one point total in the fourth quarter of the first two games.

Rafer Alston added 20 points and five assists, Carl Landry had 11 rebounds,

Williams had 28 points and 12 assists.

just as game 1 Celtics Verse Hawks, it was so easy that Celtics cruised to victory.

Kevin Garnett had another double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds.

The Celtics got a scare when All-Star Paul Pierce left in the second quarter with a back strain. But he started the second half and scored six of his 14 points in the third quarter.

as far as i am concerned, granted that  Paul Pierce cannot go back, the  Celtics still can win this game.

Josh Smith and Marvin Williams scored 13 points each for the Hawks.

The New Orleans Hornets took control of their first round series with the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday with a 127-103 home win to take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.

Dallas Mavericks  has disappointed many of its fans  in this season.

they hardly passed the regular season, but did not perform well in the palyoff.

On the contrary, The New Orleans Hornets did very good job both in regular season and playoff under the lead of Chris Paul .

it is said that Chris Paul has become the hottest player thoughout the league.

Chris Paul contributed 32 points , while David West and Peja Stojakovic added 27 and 22 points, respectively.

Dirk Nowitzki led the Mavericks with 27 points. Brandon Bass contributed 19 points and eight rebounds off the bench.

Kobe Bryant made clear that he wants to stay with the Los Angeles Lakers  and is open to finishing his career with them.

So,  fans of Lakers can set their mind at rest now.

we know Lakers did a good job in the regular season, and many fans believe  that Lakers has the potential to win the champion these season.

Bryant also expressed that the most important thing for them  is try their best to win the championship, it’s important to focus on what they’re doing and not get distracted from that.

Kobe Bryant used to be a controversial player, there were many downside report about him, the rape issuse, discorded with other palyers, bad-tempered, selfish………..but now , he is really a mature player,  pay much attention to teamwork,  he really deserve  the soul of the Lakers now.

Let’s continue yesterday’s topic,  we knew Celtics will  open their playoff against the Atlanta Hawks, today the result was come out,  just  as our anticipation, Celtics  sparked them to a 104-81 win Sunday night.

The Celtics are 4-0 this season against  the Hawks with all the wins by at least 10 points.

Ray Allen  scored  18 points and Kevin Garnett had 16,Paul Pierce  scored 16 for Boston.

Although Garnett has skipped two days practice for personal reasons and rejoining the team in sunday,  he didnt miss a beat.

it ’s his first time running into the arena for playoff game in four years,  he is  one of the  best player in the league, his excllent skill, team spirit,  made him one of the biggest reason  for the Celtics can  back in the playoffs for the first time in three years.

he performed so well  that When he left the court for the last time with 3:26 left, fans chanted, “MVP, MVP,” ……..

The Celtics has made a good start in the playoff,  how long he can go and how well he can do, still a mystery.

There is no doubt that The Boston Celtics played very well in the regular season.

they have won 66 games,  beat every team at least once this season,  they were by far the

best defensive team in the league. All these can show us

but there are so many changes, esp in NBA games, regular season records and

achievements can only prove the past，if The Boston Celtics wants to qualified into the

final  championship,  they still have a hard long way to go.

The Celtics’ quest for a 17th championship begins with a First Round series against the

young Atlanta Hawks which i think the result is easily to guess, but after that  they will

facing  other powerful teams.

whether The Boston Celtics can continue head and shoulders above the rest the league,

whether Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen can reach the Conference Finals on their own,  we will see in the playoff.

It’s definitely a great honor for those who will carry the olympic torch,

although recently some activities disrupted the procession in other countries.
