Parasites in Human Society

Who is the parasite in the human society? Actually everyone is a parasite to some degree. Human beings live on the earth; therefore we are at least the parasites of this planet. Children live on their parents. Thus, somebody may think that it’s not ashamed to be a parasite. But I’m not the “somebody”. To me, those “parasites” are still the people who choose to rely on others rather than work, and make no contribution to the society. Usually they play negative roles in the society. We are born with responsibilities. We cannot just get what we want without making any efforts. Why those parasites appear? There are two main reasons.

First, when they were children, their parents pampered them. Therefore, they gradually lose some basic survival skills. A lot of well-off children cannot cook a meal for they are a typical example.

Second, most of those parasites are lack of ideal. They haven’t received any guide about they will do in the future. There is no aim to motivate them and no achievement to inspire them.

Thus, to parasites, family, school and society should help them recognize themselves, set a long-term goal and teach them skills to live on.
