Quantum of SolaceRead lyrics below Quantum of WHAT?! Even the director of the new James Bond movie Quantum of Solace hated the title at first. “I was like, ‘Quantum of Solace’, what’s that about?” Marc Forster told a group of journalists in New York. Explaining that the title came from an original short story by Ian Fleming (creator of James Bond), Forster added: “At the beginning it took me a little while to get used to it. But it kind of grew on me.” quantum (noun): 1. a share; a portion 2. [scientific] a discrete quantity of energy proportional in magnitude to the frequency of the radiation it represents
solace (noun): consolation or comfort at a time of sadness or distress
On the face of it, the title means something like “Share of Comfort” or “Portion of Compassion”, but since I believe the storyline of the movie involves an appropriately green plot I suspect that there may be some play on words—specifically the word “quantum”.

When I listened to this song, I’ve got a hard feeling of being accused of having done sth really serious that still hidden inside.. Then someone is trying to figure it out that makes me worried but somehow, it can give a little comfort…

very interesting on word- specifically the word
quantum. When I’m read you word make me have
emotion and feeling make me know about poem
and poetry. I can use you word for guideline to
write poem and poetry. Is wonderful.

Hmmm too deep to understand what it means. I think it is about a person who is telling someone that he or she is the protector of this someone who is running away from something.

I think every song it is a poem and like this showed strong feeling the “Quantum of Solace” for me meaning that it is necesary to get a quantum of solace in some point of the life and late of soon get us and to be feel better.
