Have you ever wondered why the sky is blue?

The sky is the region of the atmosphere and outer space seen from the earth.
Ordinary light (sunlight) also known as white light is made up of seven colours only if they are reflected by something or split off in some other way (as passing through a prism). These colours have its own wavelenght. When sunlight hits Earth’s atmosphere, the blue light which has a short wavelenght is easily scattered by dust and air particles. So, when the sun is high up in the sky and light has only a short distance to travel, the blue light gets to be separated and we see a blue sky.
The sky and the sea both appear blue because the air and water do not absorb the blue light. The color blue of the sky and the sea is actually a reflection of blue lights scattered by dust and air particles.
