Heeeeeeeey! Where are you? I am caaaaaaaaaaling you do you hear me? I do wonder where you are. What are you doing? And what are you thinking about? How strange this life is! It just doesn’t let us live in peace. I’ve always dreamt of a peaceful, and a simple life, with no problems or quarrels or complexities that only disturb your peaceful mind and prevent you from a delicious and a deep sleep. There are nights during which I couldn’t find a minute of rest because of my restless mind and because of so many unpleasant, nasty, and unkind events. All these items just have bad effects on my health. I am trying hard to take things easy but they do not seem so.

There is no where unless you are over there,All the time All the way.I’ve never forgotten your words «when you need a friend I’ll be there…” You are the nicest thing that ever happens to me since I was aware that we are in need of somebody to lean on.

Thank You.

Hello, now I can feel free to move and read another novel. This time, I am going to reread the novel titled THE WINTER OF OUR DISCONTENT written by JOHN STEINBECK. It is a novel that talks about an honest man who wants to remain faithful to his morals and principals, a man whose conscious directs him towards all that is noble and elevates him to be a victim of corruption or all that can seduces him to be dishonest. What I appreciated most in this novel is the narration made by the main character of the novel; Ethan. He talks to dogs, to cats, to birds. he talks to the cans, and the tins in his store, to the water drops that are leaking in the toilet with such an incredible imagination and rich style. He goes deep inside things, and human beings, analyse and understand them if not unveil the evil side within them. He is a poor man but rich with values, principals, and morals that he feels alone even when being among the dearest persons to his heart, his wife and children.

You know, I liked this novel very much that I am reading it for the third time. There are some extracts that are so meaningful and for sure I’ll let you appreciate it with me: << Recently many little things had begun to form a pattern of larger things. it’s as though events and experiences nudged and jostled me in a direction contrary to my normal one or the one I had come to think was normal_the direction of the grocery clerk, the failure, the man without real hope or drive, barred in by responsibilities for filling the bellies and clothing the bodies of his family, caged by habits and attitudes I thought as being moral, even virtuous. And it may be that I had a smugness about being what I called a “Good Man.”>> page 94

I wish I was at the level to talk abot such a Great a Novel.

Dear blog, sorry for being absent so long , never ask whether you are alright or something is wrong. You know sometimes I do find myself so lazy to take the keyboard and start writing. What I wanna confine you is something that happens to me whenever I finished reading a novel. It has been a month since I finished reading Danielle Steel’s THURSTON HOUSE. Since then I was unable to start another novel, either I am to reread the same novel. I find myself still thinking about the characters and the events if not involved in the novel. You know I cried when Jeremiah, the hero of the novel, died. As if it were my father whom I lost years ago. the novel talks about a serious and a tender man who was so concentrated on his work. At the age of forty he fell in love with a sixty years old girl who doesn’t deserve all the love he gave her. Despite all the sacrifices he made to make her happy and despite the love she showed him at first, she deserted him leaving him with a child-girl of one year old… Twelve years later , Jeremiah died leaving his daughter alone, and she is to deal with all the fortune and clients he left behind… a so a wonderful a story that I fail to narrate. thank you Danielle Steel.

So, before wishing you a nice good bye, let me dedicate these lyrics that are Brian Adams’ to every eye that will have a peep at my Blog.

Here I am - this is me
There’s no where else on earth I’d rather be
Here I am - it’s just me and you
And tonight we make our dreams come true

It’s a new world - it’s a new start
It’s alive with the beating of young heart
It’s a new day - it’s a new plan
I’ve been waiting for you
Here I am

Here we are - we’ve just begun
And after all this time - our time has come
Ya here we are - still goin’ strong
Right here in the place where we belong

Chorus X1

Here I am - this is me
There’s no where else on earth I’d rather be
Here I am - it’s just me and you
And tonight we make our dreams come true

Chorus X2

Here I am - next to you
And suddenly the world is all brand new
Here I am - where I’m gonna stay
Now there’s nothin standin in our way
Here I am - this is me

Since the day I became aware of his existence, I have not stopped a moment listening to his songs. they were my refuge when lost, when scared about my future and when feeling alone.During all years of my university studies, I resort to his lyrics and music, they just make me feel free, flying without wings, and touching a world of love peace an harmony. Just give it a try and listen to “Will You Be There”, one of Michael Jackson’s songs, but beore that I would like you to have a look at its lyrics:

Will You Be There”

Hold Me
Like The River Jordan
And I Will Then Say To Thee
You Are My Friend

Carry Me
Like You Are My Brother
Love Me Like A Mother
Will You Be There?

Weary
Tell Me Will You Hold Me
When Wrong, Will You Skold Me
When Lost Will You Find Me?

But They Told Me
A Man Should Be Faithful
And Walk When Not Able
And Fight Till The End
But I’m Only Human

Everyone’s Taking Control Of Me
Seems That The World’s
Got A Role For Me
I’m So Confused
Will You Show To Me
You’ll Be There For Me
And Care Enough To Bear Me

(Hold Me)
(Lay Your Head Lowly)
(Softly Then Boldly)
(Carry Me There)

(Lead Me)
(Love Me And Feed Me)
(Kiss Me And Free Me)
(I Will Feel Blessed)

(Carry)
(Carry Me Boldly)
(Lift Me Up Slowly)
(Carry Me There)

(Save Me)
(Heal Me And Bathe Me)
(Softly You Say To Me)
(I Will Be There)

(Lift Me)
(Lift Me Up Slowly)
(Carry Me Boldly)
(Show Me You Care)

(Hold Me)
(Lay Your Head Lowly)
(Softly Then Boldly)
(Carry Me There)

(Need Me)
(Love Me And Feed Me)
(Kiss Me And Free Me)
(I Will Feel Blessed)

[Spoken]
In Our Darkest Hour
In My Deepest Despair
Will You Still Care?
Will You Be There?
In My Trials
And My Tripulations
Through Our Doubts
And Frustrations
In My Violence
In My Turbulence
Through My Fear
And My Confessions
In My Anguish And My Pain
Through My Joy And My Sorrow
In The Promise Of Another Tomorrow
I’ll Never Let You Part
For You’re Always In My Heart.

One of the things that helps me learn English belongs to the pieces of advice that teacher Joe provides us with and which is learn songs and sing them. So, here you are one of my most favourite songs Michael Jackson’s “Heal the World”. I want to share it with you.

“Heal The World”

There’s A Place In Your Heart
And I Know That It Is Love
And This Place Could Be Much
Brighter Than Tomorrow
And If You Really Try
You’ll Find There’s No Need To Cry
In This Place You’ll Feel
There’s No Hurt Or Sorrow

There Are Ways To Get There
If You Care Enough For The Living
Make A Little Space
Make A Better Place…

Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

If You Want To Know Why
There’s A Love That Cannot Lie
Love Is Strong
It Only Cares For Joyful Giving
If We Try
We Shall See In This Bliss
We Cannot Feel Fear Or Dread
We Stop Existing And Start Living

Then It Feels That Always
Love’s Enough For Us Growing
So Make A Better World
Make A Better World…

Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

And The Dream We Were Conceived In
Will Reveal A Joyful Face
And The World We Once Believed In
Will Shine Again In Grace
Then Why Do We Keep
Strangling Life
Wound This Earth
Crucify Its Soul
Though It’s Plain To See
This World Is Heavenly
Be God’s Glow

We Could Fly So High
Let Our Spirits Never Die
In My Heart
I Feel You Are All My Brothers
Create A World With No Fear
Together We’ll Cry Happy Tears
See The Nations Turn Their Swords
Into Plowshares

We Could Really Get There
If You Cared Enough
For The Living
Make A Little Space
To Make A Better Place…

Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

Heal The World
Make It A Better Place

YOU know, I love English language since the day I heard a tennis player giving a word as she won one of the tennis tournaments. At that moment I felt a great desire to start learning English. And it was a hard mission to carryout especially I am an Arab and our 1st foreign language is French , English is second. In this respect, I started collecting whatever an English book or workbook I found in my way, and struggled to read and understand what was written on them till the year when we were supposed to be introduced to English as a scheduled course that we were to learn and set to its exams. At the 1st trimester I was so bad at it that obtained so many bad marks. the teatcher seemed to be an alien coming from another planet. And there were so many an effort to afford to manage my English courses at both levels reading and understanding. to be continued>>o..
