what happened on the weekend
Meteorologists forecasted that Canadian people would have a harsh weather on the weekend, which start from Friday night to Sunday, 15 centemeters of snow each day with strong winds.
Every Saturday, my husband and I go to a nearby Flea Market to buy some natural honey from a friendly Polish couples. They do this bussiness not for earning extra money but they had inherited from their grandfathers and grand grand fathers. I never knew that there are six different kinds of honeys including Clover, Linden, Buckwheat, Goldenrod, Borage and Blueberry. Each of these honeys are useful for body organs or cure some deseases. For example, Clover and Linden are good for cold, flu and coughs. Buckwheat heals broken bones as well as used for sclerosis and anti-cancer diets. It also contains a fair amount of Magnesium. Borage helps reduce fevers and is rich in minerals. Finally, Blueberry is good for people who have stomach problems.It is really amazing that a tiny bee produces such rich-nutrient foods.
Moreover, the quality of the honeys are really great. I have not seen such honeys in my whole life. They are extremely different from the honeys sold at Department Stores or grocery stores. They smells like various flowers. I feel fresh and superpowerful when I smell the honeys. The hue of them are exceptional, from bright yellow to dark brown, clear crystal and also very sticky. As a result, one of our hobbys on the weekend is to go there and buy some honey. We did this for almost one and a half year so we are now friends with the couples.
After returning of the Flea Market, We went to our friend’s home for dinner and played “Wizard” game which is a kind of card game. They had discovered this game recently and asked us to play with each other. Playing Wizard was such a fun that we lost time and in the midnight, we suddenly recognized that we had to go home. We said goodbye to them and was ready to leave the house that we saw our car was hidden under the huge amount of snow. WOW! that was terrible! In the freezingly-cold night, my husband finally managed to clean the car. We got in the car and headed to the home. But, driving in this harsh circumestances is really scary. We were lucky to have winter tires. There were some accidents on the way home but after fifteen minutes we arrived. Thank god to come back home safely. It was really dangerous but we had a great weekend.
