Thanks for the article. I think it can be very helpful for some people. For me, however, it doesn’t get to the heart of the problem. I have so many things I want to do with online teaching - I have planned a blog for teachers, two new web sites, and a Google Group for more focused discussion on how to learn English successfully. However, I put things off every night when I go home from work. I think, “I’m too tired”, but then I spend two or three hours reading news online and then I’m even more tired! If I could just put in 30 minutes a night after work, I could get so much done in a year! But I put it off night after night. It’s not fear for me, as it might be for some people (as the article suggests). For me, it’s partly bad habit, partly having too many ideas, partly not being able to let go of my job when I go home, partly thinking too much about the future and not focusing on NOW.

Thank you dear teacher Joe. I read another article about this problem. It said that spend at least 15 minutes on the task that you have to do. We all have 15 minutes and if the task is really huge, divide it into small tasks and then do it a little every day. The article also insisted on thinking of the result of procrastination and when we do what we must do, we are happier.
