Competition Can Drive Our Society Forward
Some people regard competition as a negative thing while for my part, it isn’t. Competition is a stimulus to the society, that Is to say, it can drive our society forward.
A scientist once said, “Human beings have the nature of inertia, which means if life remains too even, they will become “dumb”. It was obvious that these people could never make any contribution to the development of society. We need competition because we need to be inspired. Besides, competition makes us have a clear mind, and highly alert, which are basic things we should have. What’s more, people who are under high pressure are more likely to performance beyond their normal level, so to some degree, competition motive the creating of the new thoughts.
As a result, we can see competition can eliminate the thoughts and promote the new thoughts. In that way, it makes the society leap forward.
