Hingis’s Cocaine Test —Positive

Martina Hingis, who is the five-time Grand Slam champion and already retired, was banned from tennis for two years Friday because it was announced that she was found guilty of testing positive for cocaine at the All England Club.Six months before, she said “all good”at Wimbledon, however, the results were sadly. She is the second second WTA player suspended for testing positive for cocaine. Her manager said it made no sense, she had retired. And her agent did not respond to e-mail and telephone messages requesting comment. However ,Venus Williams the six Grand Slam tittle winner supported her.        In my opinion, it seems that doping was avalivable in every aspect of sports. For such an excellent athlete, she makes me sad, why they just treat fans as a doll? Why they just get to win by all kinds of ways? The distance between first-class player is so invisible, so everyone wants to win. I always think that the sports world are so purity and perfect. For the tennis, i just want to see the games, however, the player just always made me so depressed, i try to accept this truth, this sport, and this world!

Yeah, we like to think that athletes are pure but they are human like the rest of us. Making lots of money and becoming famous have their own temptations. If people don’t have an anchor for their soul they can easily get caught up in the whirlwind of the fast life.

The sad part for us is that the people we hear about most often are the ones who do something scandalous. The athletes who are doing right don’t get so much attention. That’s perhaps the negative nature of western media.
