The Japan won North Korea with 3-2, and ranked No.1 in the East Asia women’s championship on February 21th,2008. China ranked second with 4 points, followed by North Korea with one point, and South Korea without any point.
Actually, this game is not so popular as world cup,but with the four countries are located close, so we can see some other special things.

For the history reason, especially for anti-Japan in World War Two, each time whatever fields, when Japan vs. China, Chinese audience are eager to win! And some nationalism will make big news for this kind of competition. Just in this spring festival, Chinese men’s football team lost Japan again. Anyway, we do not keep so much hope for Chinese men’s football team for the weakness. Again and again, we think the future of our men’s football; hopefully we can find a way to be strong again. With thousands of heart-broken, the only thing can make up our minds is our women’s football team which has ever won the world championship in recent years! However, now the only hope also needs challenge. And there is even such a joke said that, the Chinese football fans are the world’s most desperate fans with no hope of their national team! What a sad story? China has the largest populations, the most football fans, but one of the worst national football teams in the world!

This title attacked me first because of China, it is mainly tells a fact that a Chinese table tennis star –Wang Chen, who retired from China table tennis team in 2001 and now she is still playing in the U.S., moreover she is one of two h American table tennis players ranked high enough in the world to qualify for the Olympics this summer.
To be honest, I feel conflict very much. For one thing, I am happy for Wang Chen, she can still keep her Olympic dream. The reason for her retirement was that her age in China. However, except China, other countries do not have such kind of rules. Just like Waldner in Swenden, who had played table tennis about 40 years, but no one said because he was old, then he should retired.
For another thing, it is a pity for China; the government invests too much money to bring up such an excellent player, now she does contribution to other country, and becomes the opponent of her mother country. Maybe some of us will say, well, the mother country has deserted her, she had done enough contribution for her mother country in past years and she also devoted her best sports life to it. Now she has been free and has right to do her own chosen. What she do all depends herself. In my heart, that was the lost of excellent athlete, the failure of Chinese education system. American uses less money but pick a good fortune. At this time, I remembered another athlete, one of best volleyball players named Lang Ping, the member of China national team at the top of Chinese Volleyball time—-five successive champions. After retirement, she also left China, and now coached in Australia.
Above all, Wang Chen is not the only elite athlete china had lost, although the sadness is around me, I still give my best wishes to her, hopefully, she will fulfill her dreams. And on the other hand, I hope that our government should think over this kind of phenomena and keep the best player inboard!

On Friday 13th in July 2007, Salim Sdiri , a long jumper of France was hit by javelin from Tero Pitkamaki of Finland during a Golden League meet in Rome. Luckily, the javelin sailed far off target 80 meters away and landed in the back of long jumper Salim Sdiri and not take his life away at once. However, almost seven month passed, Sdiri still could not take part in the competition, he was healthy but he was angry.
He desires to come back the competition, but his injures still troubled him. His coach said we should give him time to face this kind of accident. And he also plans to join the Frenche indoor track and field championships in Bordeaux.
Anyway, on one side, he was not so satisfied for Pitkamaki. For one thing, he said that Pitkamaki still competed after accident; for another thing, Pitkamaki did not give him a message or an e-mail for last seven months. On another side, Pitkamaki responded that the officials had come there, he was shocked, and so he still competed.
After this accident, the I.A.A.F technical committee has begun a study, and the I.A.A.F. says it plans to discuss the findings at a meeting next month in Valencia, Spain.
At first, I just think for the long jumper, he was so luck, that he still alive; for a while, when I saw this news seven months later, I still feel nervous, what a dangerous situation at that moment, how can we feel safe in the sport? Why the designers have not thought about that kind of accident at beginning? How dangerous the javelin is! How dangerous the hammer is! When we are in the competition, sometimes, we have little time to watch the things happening around us. Everything is possible, the javelin and the hammer or the shot has no eyes, and how can it judge the person or the target? Most of time, we see the accident in the some kinds of sports we called “violence sport”, such as wrestling, boxing, American football or soccer, I have see a goal keeper was kicked to death. But for the javelin hit long jumper, the first time I have heard. It seems these two things just belong to the track and field, and then they have no direct relationship. More or less, the I.A.A.F. has paid some attention to improve the safety of these two competition, they have done some thing to avoid this kind of things happened again! And for the angry of Sdiri , that was acceptable, he was the first such kind of victim, he has right to say his feeling , but that seems not so generous for an athlete. No one wants that things happened, he should not blame Pitkamaki so harsh, things had been took place, we just prayed him be recovery quickly! Wish he will appear in the French indoor track and field championships in Bordeaux.

This article talks about the result is hard to say before the last minute of the games. Before the final game between the Giants and the Patriots, the writer guesses the outcome, who will win? On one hand, his heart was with Giants, one the other hand; he wanted to see Patriots make history, because he wanted to witness a perfect season.
This kind of feeling is really puzzled us. I always have the same feeling; I really want the team which I supported will win while I still hope i would see something special, I should witness something unprecedented. i hope the miracle will happen. If everything just like we have predicted, we will be dull about our life. The world is so special including the sports, we just do not know what happens next, we are so curious about the future, so we are waiting to experience every tomorrow. For sports, just the mini-world of the whole society, and we can find a place to release our emotion and our money! Therefore, when the results come, whatever side will win, we will feel happy. If the team we support win, just like we guess, we will feel happy just like we win! Otherwise, we witness the miracle happens, how extraordinary the experience is! That may be the point of our puzzling. We just want to find a win-win way!

“Super Dan”—Lin Dan, china’s temperamental world No.1 badminton player, who failed to control his emotion to Korea men’s team’s coach—Li Mao during Korea Open Super Series, and finally, he lost the game.
Lin Dan said, Li Mao who was also a Chinese, was talking endlessly at his back while he was competing, and after last controversial call , he was even verbally attacking Chinese team with dirty words. Li Mao said he had never seen such a rude and immoral player in his coach career. After me watching this news, deeply, I breathe, what is the manner of sports? Is not the polite? Both sides seem have their own reason. Lin loves his country, he can not bear someone insult him or his country, how about Li? Who knows what happens to him? He is also a Chinese. What a shame! That is in the competition, have they not known? For Lin, he should clearly know he was in the competition; to win the game is the first thing! For Li, he is the coach, he just stayed and watched the game, that was ok, why he what to say some in proper words, he just did his duty was enough, for any reason, his athlete was competing with his own country’s player! Anyway, they should respect each other, which was the first step in the games, even they do not know each other, they should not clash or shout each other! The audiences buy the ticket not for the quarreling, but for the competition. And for Chinese athlete, they should keep clam, avoid the unnecessary troubles or obstructions. Or else, the scandal will appear; probably he will lose the game, which is not worth!

In order to hold a high level Olympic Games, traffic jams and pollution are the two problems attack most people’s eyes. The acting mayor urged the Bird’s Nest and other venues and facilities will be all right according to schedule.
In this year, the international airport and Beijing South Railway will be completed; several subways have been under construction. And Beijing would have the “strictest standards” for pollutant emission this year especially for the heavy trucks which work at night. What is more? Beijing will corporate with other cities, such as Tianjin.
All in all, the task is still tough, the government needs to supply better public services and improve the management of the city.
Olympic Games are big event in Beijing, as a normal Chinese, with the day closing, so we are so eager to know what is going on. If the government keeps promise, if the Olympic Games will be hold on time or something else.
Last year, we had a party with theme “we are ready”, even though, some of us still doubtful, is that true? The water cube has not completed? The traffic jams have not solved…however, after this news, I feel more confident about our government, for I have seen some changes around my side, the new subway lines, the new public bus, and so on.
So I think we are ready for the Olympic Games, for one reason, we have prepared for at least four years. For another reason, everyone in our country likes to hold the Olympic Games, they are warming. Whereas, we should keep calm and patient, as some problems still there, we should tolerant with our government, we should trust them, everything will be Ok, nothing is prefect in the world, and we all know that. Therefore, the only thing we need to do is waiting, waiting the big day coming!
